One compass. Several options. One understandable decision.

  • independent of age

From your concern to a solution

You do not need to know the right service yet.

The compass begins with what you want to make possible in your life. Only then does it organise services, funding and next steps.

Compare providers and 29 market profilesOpen technical details on sources, pay and service logic

Source-based provider pool

29 market profiles from across Switzerland—transparently comparable.

The compass first checks the canton, authorisation, service, professional support and current availability. Wages and marketing claims alone never determine a recommendation. Profiles are ordered by the quality of the evidence and then alphabetically—not by wage.

Data as at 24 July 2026
DASTI Family Care PlusTarget offer · commercial approval pending

Our goal: combine fair pay with the strongest evidenced service elements across 29 market profiles.

The wage rule compares only equivalent, firmly published rates. Unclear ‘up to’ claims, weekend supplements, treatment care and basic care are not combined. A market update first triggers a professional and commercial review; contracts never change automatically.

Basic care · target rateCHF 38.10/hCHF 0.10 above the highest firmly published comparative rate of CHF 38.00
Qualified treatment care · target rateCHF 45.60/honly with the relevant qualification · CHF 0.10 above CHF 45.50

This is not yet a binding wage commitment: the canton, qualification, insurance decision, wage components and full costs will be confirmed before the employment contract is signed.

Best-in-market service standard

  • 360° compass and personal report before the initial consultation
  • Dedicated nursing professional responsible for the case, with formal deputy cover
  • Needs assessment, care planning and an easy-to-understand monthly review
  • Funded care-assistant course plus short practical modules delivered by Bildungsdienst
  • Eligibility check covering KVG, IV/AHV, supplementary benefits, care credits and cantonal pathways
  • Emotional support, guidance for relatives and a defined escalation pathway
  • Secure communication and documentation, plus transparent payroll accounting
  • Professional replacement, respite or partner solution if a family caregiver is unavailable

Regions are visible—availability is still checked individually.

The number shows profiles with published or documented cantonal coverage. It does not confirm a current authorisation or available capacity.

1 · Exclusion

Is the service legally and regionally suitable?

Authorisation, canton, type of care, contractual model and availability.

2 · Suitability

Professional support, continuity, language, training, response time and safeguarding.

3 · Decision

Which two or three pathways are well supported by the evidence?

Costs, benefits, risks, unresolved points and source status in the report.

How the system prevents paid-for or misleading rankings

A provider cannot pay to appear more suitable. Unverified coverage, missing confirmation of authorisation or outdated rates result in an unresolved review point—not a positive recommendation.

  • Authority source before provider source before comparison portal
  • Keep source status and actual availability separate
  • Every figure must include an access date and scope
  • No list of winners without personal criteria
  • Apply the CHF 0.10 rule only within the same service and qualification level
  • Unclear ‘up to’ values do not trigger an automatic wage increase
  • Every market change requires cost, quality and approval checks

The 29 profiles form a market baseline, not a DASTI recommendation. Before any referral, provider information is checked against primary sources, cantonal authorisation and current capacity. Third-party reviews and texts are not reproduced.

Cost guidance

Ranges instead of false precision.

Support, assistance and KLV care are governed by different rules. This demo therefore presents assumptions openly and separates potential funding from estimated total costs.

  • Check the IV assistance allowance and helplessness allowance
  • Clarify care components separately with the healthcare service
  • Show cantonal differences and personal contributions transparently

Full-cost transparency

Where each part of the amount goes.

As at 31 July 2026

The IV rate is funding, not a gross wage. The comparison therefore uses a separate assumed gross hourly wage. Employer and system costs must also be covered by the funding. Statutory fixed amounts, contractually variable costs and adjustable planning assumptions remain separate.

Fairness rule

The comparison uses the same gross wage and as similar a service scope as possible. Net pay is a range because non-occupational accident cover, pension, withholding tax and pension plans vary individually. Family allowances, occupational accident cover, pension and sick-pay insurance vary by canton, compensation office, insurer, age and contract. Only the payslip, employment contract and written quotation are binding.

Pension check in this scenario: annual wage including enabled contractual assumption CHF 18’928 · Entry threshold likely not reached in this individual employment; check multiple employments and plan rules separately.

Open formulas, limits and sources

The calculator does not copy a third-party black box. Every formula is visible: time × rate; for live-in support, the individual employer and relief-cover components are added. Only the authority’s decision, the employment contract and the quotation are binding.

360° process system

One data model—five clearly separated levels of responsibility.

DASTI’s internal materials on admission, KLV, IV, SEBE, family care, administration and progress documentation are not converted into one long questionnaire. The compass collects only what is genuinely needed for the next appropriate step.

01

Anonymous guidance

Goal, requested support, schedule, canton and existing assistance.

No address, diagnosis or insurance number.
02

Optional in-depth assessment

Resources, priorities, provider preferences, funding and unresolved questions.

The client decides what is included in the report.
03

Professional assessment

KLV, IV and SEBE are assessed separately; clinical information is handled only by qualified professionals.

The compass does not make diagnoses or decisions on benefits.
04

Solution & funding

DASTI services, partner services and external options with costs, evidence and alternatives.

Overlapping entitlements and service gaps become visible.
05

Implementation & quality

Contract, service planning, documentation, reassessment and personal follow-up.

NEXUS remains the authoritative case record.

What is connected

Record once and share selectively.

Answers are assigned a purpose, source, approval status and validity. The same verified dataset can then support the compass, cost guidance, 360° report and consultation agenda without unnecessarily duplicating sensitive data.

Which logical errors in the source materials the new system prevents
  • No date of birth or address at the anonymous initial contact stage.
  • No ‘high client potential’ requirement for impartial guidance.
  • No mixing of KLV care, IV assistance, SEBE and support costs.
  • No duplicate recording of services across email, paper and NEXUS.
  • No detailed medical questions without professional responsibility and consent.
  • No provider recommendation without current authorisation and capacity checks.

DASTI report protection

The rules matrix remains protected. The report remains verifiable.

The browser receives neither the complete KLV/IV mapping nor internal codes and standard minutes. For the verification record, the server validates the inputs again and signs only the result fingerprint.

  1. 1 · Data minimisationNo names, diagnoses, addresses or insurance numbers in the token.
  2. 2 · Server-side validationRestricted inputs, a fixed rules version and protection against misuse.
  3. 3 · SignatureReport ID, timestamp, expiry date and cryptographic proof.
  4. 4 · Authenticity checkThe QR code and verification page identify forged tokens; the result fingerprint links the verification record to the version calculated on the server.

Frequently asked questions

Key points before you start.

The key answers about the compass, costs, comparison, data and continuing later.

Do I already need to know which service I need?

No. The compass starts with your everyday situation and then explains assistance, support, care help and possible combinations in an understandable way.

Does the compass cost anything or require registration?

No. The guidance is free and works without registration. A name, address, diagnosis and insurance number are not required for the result.

Are the calculator costs binding?

No. The calculator shows transparent ranges and assumptions. Binding decisions are made by the responsible IV office, health insurer, municipality, canton or competent authority.

How are providers compared?

The profiles are based on disclosed sources and are not sold or prioritised for payment. Authorisation, capacity, qualifications and contractual terms are checked again before any referral.

Can I open my result later or on another device?

Yes. You can copy a continuation link. The selected categories are contained only in the unencrypted URL fragment and are not sent to the server when the website opens. Share the link only with people you trust.
