Source-based provider pool
The compass first checks the canton, authorisation, service, professional support and current availability. Wages and marketing claims alone never determine a recommendation. Profiles are ordered by the quality of the evidence and then alphabetically—not by wage.
The wage rule compares only equivalent, firmly published rates. Unclear ‘up to’ claims, weekend supplements, treatment care and basic care are not combined. A market update first triggers a professional and commercial review; contracts never change automatically.
This is not yet a binding wage commitment: the canton, qualification, insurance decision, wage components and full costs will be confirmed before the employment contract is signed.

A provider cannot pay to appear more suitable. Unverified coverage, missing confirmation of authorisation or outdated rates result in an unresolved review point—not a positive recommendation.
The 29 profiles form a market baseline, not a DASTI recommendation. Before any referral, provider information is checked against primary sources, cantonal authorisation and current capacity. Third-party reviews and texts are not reproduced.
Cost guidance
Support, assistance and KLV care are governed by different rules. This demo therefore presents assumptions openly and separates potential funding from estimated total costs.
Transparent calculator
The detailed calculator prevents blanket offsetting: only funded KLV basic care is recorded as a time deduction. Treatment care remains visible as a separate professional note.
The calculation provides guidance based on the distinctions in the KSAB circular. Treatment care remains visible separately and is not deducted in the same way as basic care. The IV office conclusively determines the need, maximum limits, deductions, rate, night service and annual factor.
Full-cost transparency
The IV rate is funding, not a gross wage. The comparison therefore uses a separate assumed gross hourly wage. Employer and system costs must also be covered by the funding. Statutory fixed amounts, contractually variable costs and adjustable planning assumptions remain separate.

The comparison uses the same gross wage and as similar a service scope as possible. Net pay is a range because non-occupational accident cover, pension, withholding tax and pension plans vary individually. Family allowances, occupational accident cover, pension and sick-pay insurance vary by canton, compensation office, insurer, age and contract. Only the payslip, employment contract and written quotation are binding.

DASTI report protection
The browser receives neither the complete KLV/IV mapping nor internal codes and standard minutes. For the verification record, the server validates the inputs again and signs only the result fingerprint.

The future live system will not update recommendations blindly. It detects changes, flags affected formulas and releases them to the compass only after professional review.
